About: Acknowledgements and Credits

Though our team has worked months and spent hundreds of hours on this endeavor, this site could not have been possible without the help of several people and organizations.

ThinkQuest

We would first and most importantly like to thank the ThinkQuest organization for allowing us the opportunity to forge global relationships and further our academic interests. With Shakeeb and Raghu having already participated in an earlier ThinkQuest competition, these two were duly able to show the other team members the benefits of the Thinkquest competitions.

Primary Coach: Mr. John Harrison

We would like to thank Mr. John Harrison for his unwavering support and cooperation throughout the process of creating this project. Thanks to Mr. Harrison's experience as a ThinkQuest coach before, he was able to allow the team members to work together independently, and when needed would provide valuable insight, critism, and guidance. Thank you, Mr. Harrison.

Assistant Coach: Wieland Brendel

We would like to thank Wieland for providing invaluable encouragement, strict and constructive criticism, and for passing on his knowledge of 3D animation and video design to the group members. Without Wieland's technical knowledge and extensive tips, this website would have severely lacked in the design and multimedia features. Though Wieland was our Assisant Coach, he considered himself as an active member of ProjectArcix. Thank you, Wieland.

Music Composition: Jie Liu

We would like to thank Jie Liu, currently a student at the University of North Carolina, for allowing us to use the music he composed for our introductory video. We felt this specific composition was very dramatic and ominous; just perfect for our endeavor. Thank you, Jie.

Contribution: Physicians for Human Rights

The image used in the introductory video for Darfur was provided by the Physicians for Human Rights. We are very appreciative for their kindless, quick response, and allowing us permission to use their images on our Project.

Contribution: Lokesh Dhakar

Some images shown on this website employ the Lightbox JS script to show them. The script was produced by Lokesh Dhakar and we would like to thank him for allowing us to use this script. Thank you Lokesh.
